Sql 2005 Question

Hello Everyone.

I had some issues with SQL 2005 and I used the windows uninstaller to uninstall it. I tryed to reinstall from the same software package and I got a msg that the version I am trying to install is not supported with the version I have. (something along those lines) I went through the registry and deleted every occurence of SQL i could find and am still having the same issue. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Check other applications to see if it installed a copy of SQLExpress 2005 (Visual Studio does for sure).

Nope no SQLEspress installed. Still can't seem to reinstall.

Have you tried rebooting and then trying the reinstall?
