SQL 2000 to SQL 2000 migration help !!!

Hi ...
We have a migration project for Migrating Data from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2000 itself .
There are 9 source DB's in total and a total of around 300 tables.
Destination has 1 Db with around 200 tables.
Mapping is stated by the client .
How do i achieve this ?

1) Create a DTS Package if u r able to map all the data...
2) write a VB program to migrate..

But i am totally new to DTS feature ...
Can u plz provide me some help abt it or even some documentation if u have any which can solve my problem ...
