Hello, I am using Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 to create a website, I've created a database and a few tables. My problem is that my web host only supports SQL Server 2000.

I've downloaded SQL Server 2000 MSDE, but I can't get it to run under Visual Studio 2005. Is this possible, if not what other options do I have?

I have stopped SQL 2005 and only have SQL 2000 running and when I try to connect to it, it tells me that it can't connect to 2005 (but I don't want to connect to 2005).

Please help,

Louis

That's not my problem. My problem is trying to get SQL Server 2000 to show up under Visual Studio 2005 so that I can create a database and tables. I guess I didn't explain myself to well, sorry.

Thank you,

Louis

Why does it need to run "under Visual Studio"? You can just use SQL Server Enterprise Manager to create your database and tables and then connect to it from your website.
