I have successfully created clustering between 2 compaq DL380 G3 servers connected via shared SCSI bus to a SAN

Am now trying to install failover SQL virtual server using SQL 2000 Enterprise. (Win2k Adv serv installed)

During the SQL setup everything is fine, it takes all information, finds the shared SCSI disks for the data files, lovely up until the point when it starts instlling the files on the cluster!

Then it pops up with an error saying:

"An error occured while creating virtual server resources for clustering. The system cannot find the file specified"

Have been ripping my hair out over this, cannot find any internet resources to deal with this problem. The only releted issues seem to be with SQL service pack installs but not with the base product.

Been though all documentation and as far as I can see all is correct.

Can anyone out there help?

I am having the exact same problem. Did you ever figure out a way to fix it?
