Spying or intrusion with Norstar phone 4

Is it possible for a Norstar phone user in Room A, to dial a code and listen to an on going conversation In room B ,

Phone in room B is on hook (not being used)
Auto privacy is on, on all lines

How can that be done?
How can we stop this function if it exist

is this a trick question why dont you try it and see i still believe it can be done with group listen...i had a car dealership and manager wanted to listen to sales people and i believe thats how i did it////goin back 8 yrs kinda foggy so go to faq section

Sounds to me more likely voice call F66. You said room b phone is idle "not being used". From room a try dialing F66 then the DN of room b. You'll hear what's going on in room b.

you'll be hearing beeps every now and then ...telling the user that the mic is on

The answer is yes that can be done, but phone B would know because a warning tone would beep every 15 seconds. The feature is voice call. If you want to deny the ability to accept voice calls, or you are worried about other security issues, you should call a qualified vendor.

i tried voice call F66
and it works, not on all sets, but that is the function that we were investigating.
as long as there is abbep to alert the user that some one listing we should ok

You can block voice calls with F88
