Sprite Looping

Before the next sprite in the score starts, the executing sprite starts to loop. How can this be stopped? We want one sprite to end and the next to start.
 
It sounds as though the actual sprite is not looping, but the content you have placed in the sprite. By default, sprites continue in order unless you tell it to loop, wait, jump, or some other command.

Have you put a behavior in the sprite to make it wait before advancing to the next?

Also, what are the contents of the sprite, so that I know what is looping.

 
We assigned no behaviors since we thought that when one sprite stopped the next (on a different layer) would automatically start. The sprites (there are around 10 of them) are mainly Shockwave (.swf) and Quicktime (.mov) video clips. We want one to run, then the next, until the end. Thanks for any help you can provide.
