Hello,

it's been so long since I've done this, I can't remember what number is followed by the spre code from the maintenance set to access a direct trunk for call testing. Where would I find it? I have printed the spre code in CDB LD 15 to get the spre code. After the spre code and number is entered I know I press 57(LD)# 36 then the TN. Please help!

Ok, so I got past the spre + 91 (maintenance set logged in) then the book says 53(LD)# 36# then dial 875(TRK)# 8(L)#6(U) then I should get a dial tone at this point. I get nothing. Am I missing something?

it depends on the type of trunk, you don't always get dial tone. if you are watching the maintenance terminal once you do ..TRK TN, you should se DN. at that point you can dial your test number.

I'm using analog trunks (COT). This PBX used to have GRD start trunks but for some weird reason the PBX stopped working with GRD start trunks. In any case, I don't get hte "DN?". so if I don't get a DT, could I still dial the number to place a test a call?

no, when you login to LD36 and do the TRK 8 6 ##, you get a dn? below that on the screen, then you dial
