I have seen in this forum what a TYPE SFP DN is and how to change it. I want to change SPRE=7999 to something else because I need a cdp=79.
besides changeing it in LD15, what other implications would it have? do I have to change anything else elsewhere? could I cause a mess?

I would check to see how many people actually use it, sounds like with a digit code not to many people would be

I don't think for one second that it will cause you any grief as the feature is very historic. Most phone users have digital sets or analogue tone dialing.

I agree that it's unlikely that SPRE codes are used in your system, especially since it's a 4 digit code. You can find a list of all the SPRE features in the Telephones and Consoles NTP. Many of them may also have Flexible feature codes so the SPRE is unnecessary.
But if you have any doubt, you could still program all the CDP codes that start with 79 except 7999. Not too much more work.

Probably the biggest impact would be your maintenance set login if you even use that. SPRE is typically used for analog phones. If you have a lot of analog you may want to investigate.
