spoolsv.exe error when starting Win2000 Pro . All printers have been deleted. I have tried last know good boot, have tried manual start of spooling , have tried safe boot, have tried adding printers (which does not work).

Any ideas , help would be appreciated. I don't want to have to do a complete re-install to correct the fault.
