Hi, on a Win 8.1 pc whenever the user attempts to print, the Spooler SubSystem App process goes into the high 90's in cpu percentage and stays there. If I go into services and restart the print spooler it will release. The pc is clean, nothing in startup, I ran Process Explorer and that did not tell me anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Try running this script and see if it helps. Save as a .bat file and run in a privileged (Administrator) command prompt.

Code:
net stop spooler
del /Q /F /S "%systemroot%\System32\Spool\Printers\*.*"
net start spooler

It looks that worked! I know I checked that "Printers" folder and it was empty. Many thanks for your help!
