I recently connected a Citrix box with server 2000 and am testing it's possiblilties. A few days ago in went offline with no worning. I had installed multiple apps to it along with printers for the remote ICA client to use. I was testing the printing from my desktop (win 2000 pro). When the server went a down. I came in the next morning and my pc with out of vertual memory. I rebooted and watched it start consumming memory again. After about 5 hours of research a say a thread at Microsoft stating that the Print Spooler was consuming the prosessor and memory. The error was a 2004 and states: The spooler service leaks private bytes each time an Event ID 2004 is logged and every four seconds thereafter until it reconnects to the remote printer. Well it never connects and takes all the memory on the workstation. Has any heard of this problem under Citrix.
