Hi All,

Have you ever heard spontaneous reset of md110?
I have 5-6 year lim with BC10.
What can be its reason?

Thanks.

Is this happening when you send a command or do you get any msg on screen?
The only time I seen this when a programming unit gone lock or faulty.

It is without any action, any time, not related to anything.

If i remember correctly there was a problem with "option units" that was connected to a extension in LIM 1 that could cause the PBX to "reset" itself.
Option units for VR ore just headsets.
Ore whas this i a earlier release?

You mean restart. May be, high call rate is the reason?

Yes, I mean restart.
Sure not high call rate, restart has happened on a Sunday morning for example.
I start to suspect the high temperature, the air conditioning system has gone wrong.
Anyway I see this in the alarm log for this time:

348 SYNCHRONIZATION DISTURBANCE FOR DECT FIXED PART
DATE TIME ALP NOIF UNIT EQU BRDID INF1 INF2
20MAR06 10:46:25 27 118 CTLP 001-0-42-00 108 58 8

Yes, high temperature is strong reason, but, also, as people said already in the topic: what HIMDP shows; if you don't start the feature yet, start it by MML command.

For example, each automatic restart in large exchanges like AXE-10 follows by descriptive printout which shows the critical process step by step and we can find the reason.

Something like this in MD110: you start the operating system control function, and in critical situations you get alarm DISTURBANCE COUNTER INCREASE ... and then give MML command HIMDP; to analyse the situation.

Or pass the printout to the support or to the Forum.

Before the MD make a restart it's making a SYAR dump, this dump will tell the reason for the restart.
I am not able to analysis this but E// is.
