We are having an issue where sometimes what will happen is that the phone will start ringing at one of our stations, user picks it up but they will hear ringing on the other end and the other end will reply like our user was calling them. There's no apparent pattern as to who might be on the other end either.

Haven't seen anything suspicous in the logs or when I do a display errors either. It's looking like it's a external problem, but before I go any further with this I would like to see if anybody else have had this problem before.

Thank you.

is ther more than one admin?
could it be someone having fun with the list trace command?
see post thread690-1394628

I know I have had a ball with it... lol

Nah... there is one more, but like.. he's not even really sure about how to install a analog phone so... heh.. I doubt he has the capacity to figure that one out.

Could they be using the Call Park feature?

Nah.. totally random parties on the other end and all of the users I have talked to claims that they have never had any contact with this people prior.

I am wondering if there is an employee out there with to much time on their hands and playing with the transfer button. As soon as I have a number I'll start to to some tracing and see what we can find. Like if it originated on a different in house extension.
