NYC: Nortel CS1000 using PRI link connected to AVAYA PBX A, each side can dial to other end directly by extension#.
DC: AVAYA PBX B
AVAYA PBX A&B connected via IP trunk, A had been configured to using B’s outbound trunk when dial DC area numbers, 202 etc.
We plan to configure the PBX to also allow Nortel users to using AVAYA B’s outbound trunk to reach DC area numbers.
Nortel: extension# 6700~6799
AVAYA A: extension# 7500~7599
PRI link via Nortel & AVAYA A: Route 3
CDP/DSC75:
RLI 3-> Route3 DMI 3 (del nul insert nul CTYP CDP)
Configuration:
SPN change for 1202
REQ prt CUST 0 FEAT net TRAN ac1 TYPE spn
SPN 1202
FLEN 0
RLI 4 (previously for Nortel Local trunk, RLI 2) RLI 4->route 3, DMI 4 (del nul insert 9 CTYP what is this???)
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE
I think by this setting, when Nortel user dials 91202xxxxxxx, call will be route to AVAYA A, all numbers will pass to AVAYA A to handle the routing.
But it failed! I received fast busy tone on Nortel end.
Is there anything I need to check? Thanks for the advise!
