Does anyone know where I can obtain SPM software. Are the newer versions backward compatible with older legend releases? Thanks!!

ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/tsoweb/legend/WinSPM5to6Patch.exe

version 6 is backward compatible

Go to the Avaya.com website and downloan WinSPM 5.0 and the
upgrade patch to 6.0.
It will handle all Legends & magix systems.

Actually, If you are using SPM for programming only, all versions, even the older DOS versions, are both backward and forward compatible, because they read their information from the switch being programmed. If you like the DOS format(my favorite), you can use even use it for programming on the newest Magix switches. The only compatiblity issues are with WinSPM, which, for programmng only, you should have at least version 5, because it is the earliest Release that will allow reliable access to R1 Legend switches. If you're a programmer/tech, the I would agree with chelsaegroup, and Dolfus1, and get version 6.0. If you have any questions, you can get customer support at: 800-628-2888, or just go to

Please let me know if you were able to find a place to download it from.

We just purchased a used Legend R3 system and I can not get in without the SPM software.

Can you help me out.
