I just purchased a new laptop with Windows Vista Home Ed. Premium operating system loaded on it and I managed to load the SPM software rel. 8 on to the laptop but when I try to open the program I get a message saying " WinSPM has stopped working " then asked to be restarted .Any help really appreciated Thx J

I dont think it is supported on Vista. I think some one here may have gotten it to work. i do not think Avaya will even make a version that will work because they do not make the Magix anymore.

While my computer runs XP, people have reported being able to run WinSPM with Vista.

Also, Avaya's website has a links to upgrade older versions of WinSPM to the final release (R9)

Run in compatibility mode and run as administrator and it will work

rwilliamstele I have a question about your use of VISTA and SPM.

Have you been able to "DIAL IN" to a system using your modem with VISTA?
