where can i get SPM for download?
I have an Avaya FTP site and tried to dowload the SPM2.exe
but when going through the installation process it asked me to insert disk#2?
I don't have any disks, I just clicked the exe file.
Ok I opened up a Legend Large Processor, FM2 (which means Release 2.0, It has two batteries rather than the Tolkin capacitors. The first battery jumper is HDR3, the second is way to the right by the same type of battery (PMB 3.6B). It is not marked with a number. Your processor is probably an older generation tahn mine - and you are getting out of my knowledge range. Travelling Tom may be right in that you will need to use a DOS version of SPM - and the WinSPM versions you downloaded will be useless. I don't know where to get a copy of DOS SPM - I don't have one.
Hi Tom,
The back of the processor say's 517B25.
And yes there are two round batteries. I do recall getting into programming with this a year ago, and I do think it was the dos version. But i'm not sure.
THe WINSpm shuold work but the Really Old Processors only connected at 1200 baud. Try setting the baudrate in WINSpm to 1200. Once you connect, You can only use the "standard SPM" within the SPM, none of the other WINSpm features will work.
