Splitting up a database - loading time?

Hi,

I've just split up my Access database file into the FE and BE parts. I've noticed that it takes a really long time to load up the FE database file now? around 1-2 minutes? Is this normal?
It seems rather long, considering it only used to take a few seconds to load up the database before it was split up.

Check FAQ. I am sure there is a reference and a great way to speed up the program in there.
