I have a problem sending messages with Outlook 2000. Sometimes, when I send
a email containing an atachment, the recipient receives the atachment as
multiple, seperate emails and they are giberish. I say some people, because
I can send the attachment to my home or to someone else in my office and do
not get the problem.
I have reinstalled Outlook. Using Win ME over a network to cable modem.

Are those persons also using Outlook or anothe mail client? If using a different mail client I would first make sure you are not using RTF as the editor or that you don't have the contact configured to send in RTF format.

Use HTML or plain text instead and see if that makes a difference. joegz

outgoing message is set to HTML. i have sent the attachment from another computer in the office and from my home to the same recipient, and the person can open it, no problem???

There is a setting in some email clients that breaks up large messages.
Make sure it is turned OFF...especially if you are sending attachments.

i found that the setting to break up large messages was set to 60kb!!!!! i don't know how, but unchecked it and all is fine now.
