Goodday All
I'm trying to split a really big drive into smaller chunks, reason being it really takes a long time and secondly if it fails it start from scratch again. Two questions:
- Splitting the drive using the following option
W:\Drive3\[a-dA-D]*\* according to technote 275578 does not work. It fails with error 71.
- My second problem is my backups won't start from the the last checkpoint but from the start although my "Checkpoint restart every" box is ticked.

Master Server is Windows 2003. Netbackup 5.1 MP4 S01
Thanks in advance

I've used that technote before and it works. You have to have the exclude (W:\Drive3\*) configured first. Then the include W:\Drive3\[a-dA-D]*\* would work.

Hi Qdog
I've tried your suggestion but I'm still getting an error 71
