If upgrading from an alchemy with phone manager pro, to a new IPO 500. Can the speed dials be exported/imported?

export the config from the alchemy unit and use a program like UltraEdit to remove all unnecessery text so only the speeddials are left, save it as "speeddial.csv" and import it in the ipo500

if you meant the phone manager speed dials then there should be a file in the avaya folder in my documents.

On ipo users apps its in the folder named as the extn numnber, file is called list2speed or something like that. you need show hidden files/folders ticked.

no idea if it would work though.

On alchemy the speed dial icons are saved as reg entries, not in the my docs folder.

I do not know of a way to easily do this.

Cheers guys, I think I'll have to tell them to save what they have. It is the phone manager speed dials, on approx 100 pc's. I think this one may get handed over to the customer's IT people to clean the pc's before installing the new phone manager as I don't fancy spending a day or two uninstalling and regediting!

is it a case of everyone having the same internal speed dials? because you can create that once on the new phone manager then drop them in to all the machines, saves adding them all 100 times.
