If you're using SIP trunks on an IPECS please let me know if the following works for you.

In the system speed dial, enter a number, for example 555-555-5555 and then put "Ned's Cell" as the name.

If 555-555-5555 calls in on one of your sip trunks does it display "Ned's Cell" as the caller-id or does it still show the carrier sent caller id.

Thanks

Carrier sent CLI and system also alpha tags the name within the speed dial.
Used IPECS MFIM 50 and also ipLDK 100

What system are you working on?

Regards
Steve

IPECS MFIM 100. It only displays Carrier sent CLI it does not tag it with the speed dial bin for me. Do you know how to enable it to do that? I either want both to display or the speed bin name to take priority.

For example our field techs all call in and it says "Wireless caller", when it should say the speed bin name.

You will need to have PGM 114 - CLI Name Display turned ON

Regards
Steve
