How can I tell what speed and duplex settings are on my ITG card. Can this be done by dialing into the switch - any specific LD command?

Much Thanks,

If you have the serial cable for your itg set your pc at 9600 8 1 none and restart your ITG.
In the startup i think you can read all about you search.

Good luck

post is right, there is a interface port on that card for direct connection, it could be connected to a modem but to boot the card your still going to need fingers in the switchroom

If you are able to telnet to the ITG card via OTM or Procomm, enter the command, itgCardShow (case sensitive). Will list card information, including E-Lan and T-Lan speeds and duplex.

yeah telnet to the card theres alot of good functionality and commands in there. i can do almost anything remotely to the ITG trunk and line cards and find out anything about them and the phones connected to them

Doesn't OTM give you the ability to do that from the IP Trunk screen? I seem to remember being able to right-click on the ITG node, and an option to telnet to the card was there.

It has been a few years, and this may have changed since I worked on them.

YES; OTM does give you the ability to directly telnet to the ITG card.

Thanks for all your responses guys - I am gonna jump in OTM tomorrow and check it out!!
