Speechless in Seattle

I have just discovered the Microsft Speech SDK. It appears to be fantastic - but the documentation/samples leave me thirsting for more knowledge. I have been unable to locate any one who knows how to use this stuff.
#1 - I am trying right now to have the voice recognition engine transcribe input from a wav or mp3 file file (or the media player if possible) into text.
#2 - I'd like to get a thread going here where we can blaze ground for people who latch unto to this technology later. I hate to have everybody floundering like I was to try every method and property that is exposed to try and get the code to do what I want.

I have been working on speech recog for a long time. I doubt you will have much success with wav. I would be glad to work with you on portions of your project if it looks like things are progressing. you can email me at drudell@adelphia.net
