BCM50: sometimes incomming analog calls do not carry voice either way (ring - answer - dead air), and sometimes there is a gap or a drop of full duplex during a call.
ISSUE: BCM model 50 can experience several anomalies related to the Global Analog Trunk
Interface (GATI) which controls analog line connections.
RELEASE: BCM50 Rls 1.0, Software Version 1.00.2.04g or 1.00.204j
CR: Q01177739

WORKAROUND: NONE
STATUS: Patch BCM050.025-DSP-FPGA Version: 1.0-1.0 has been developed to address
these conditions. Patch is currently in a GA (General Availability) status. This patch
(BCM050.025-DSP-FPGA Version: 1.0-1.0) is only applicable to problems on internal analog
ports, not GATM's in expansion ports.
A bulletin entitled "BCM50 Analog Trunk Damage Under Extreme Ring Current Conditions",
Bulletin #2006006598 has been released
RECOMMENDATION: If you have a system with any of the symptoms listed above, load the
