Spectrum and Symon Wallboards

Hello all...We recently moved one of our divisions off of one PBX and moved them to another. They have a Spectrum Wallboard running off of thier CMS. We need to run the wallboard off of the new CMS which already has Symon wallboards running off of it. Does anyone know if Symon and Spectrum and co-exist on the same CMS? I would think it is a non-issue, but just need to make sure. We are awaiting some feeback from Avaya so any feeback would be great. Thanks!!

if your apps are using custom cms terminal reports and screen scrape, there shouldn't be any reason why the 2 data feeds couldn't get data from the same cms. you would possibly need to run the terminal apps on different pcs and thus tie up 2 cms logins, but not unmanageable.

If you are using some other type of feed I cannot address that specifically, but I would think it also possible given that you can run data feeds to multiple different types of other apps simultaneously - rta, echi, etc.

Symon can often change Spectrum boards to work on SyMON software. This may be a neater option. Reduced support costs & reduced maintenance.
