Hello,

CE10
Crystal Report XI

I have a report in CE that is on different server and port number(2433). How can i specify it on CE when i upload my report? On the designer the report is running perfectly but i can't run it on CE and gives me database logon error.

Does anybody have an idea on how to do this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Please explain further:

Do you mean that the datasource for the report is on a different server?

Did you set the database login info when you published the report?

What database, connection method, version?

( BTW, reports in CE are not port specific - they are all stored where your FRS directories are located)

Thanks Turkbear for replying.

Yes, my datasource for the report is on a different server and on a different port number. Its on 2433 instead of the normal 1433 port number.

Yes, i did set the database login info.

My database is in Sqlserver2k, ODBC connection.

My CE is in version 10.

Hi,
If the DSN for that SqlServer database is correctly configured, the port number should not matter...( I assume that SqlServer allows different ports for accessing it)
