Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a different Word template (i.e. instead of normal.dot) when you export a Crystal Report into Microsoft Word format?

I need to put a macro I have written into any Word documents that are generated by Crystal.

I am using Crystal v10.

Thanks in advance,
Donna.

I don't think that you can specify other templates.

You might write some vba in Word to read in the exported Word document adn then execute your macro, but this would be an external process.

Thanks for the response synapsevampire.

This would mean putting vba into the normal.dot though, which I didn't really want to do.

Thanks again for your help though,
Donna.

No, not in the normal.dot, create a template which ghas your code, and it's 1st thing would be to import thje data from the exported file.

It could even autorun a macro upon opening to point to the newly exported file.
