I'm not sure where to post this problem. Just recently I started having problems connecting to certain websites (one example is All browsers on my laptop (IE, Firefox, Opera), a friend's laptop, as well as on another computer in my house just sit there as the website tries to load. It either takes forever, spinning and spinning, or never loads at all. And it's all the time now. I have no problems at other sites (my connection is fine).

The problem sites (like templatetuning.com) load properly if I use a proxy like evaded.net. The website owners have told me the sites are working fine.

Why are certain sites having loading issues all the time but work properly on a proxy? Is it a problem with our ISP, spyware, security settings, website blocking, etc.? It makes no sense!

Hang on a second..... this contradicts your other thread which says only IE is the problem. Are these 2 threads talking about different machines/circumstances?

Yes, they are separate things. This thread is talking about certain websites in all my browsers (IE6, Firefox, Opera). I haven't tried my problem websites in IE7 yet since I just upgraded and can't see any websites at all (the other post).
