Special date category

I need to set up a special date category that looks at a specific period spanning seven months in a year.
What is the best way to do this?

You would have to use a custom relative time category. This would always allow you to track the previous 7 months even when the new month rolls over. For example, if you needed to track the previous 7 months based off the current month, you would have to have these settings in your custom relative time category.

Type: N-Period Running Totals
Number of periods: 7
Target period: Months
Target offset: -1
