i put 3 phones in a hunt group with ring as a group and then hands free awnser; but it didnt work so good as a speaker system

is there any way i can use the ipoffice phones to kick in to speaker for an intercom system.

!I wouldn't have expected it to work good, especially if they were all near each other, the feedback would have been gross.

Why not just make a page call to that group number, no need to put them to internal auto-answer. May need to setup a short code for DialPaging unless using older 4400/4600 Series phones (where you can press MENU twice, then Call, the group number and then Page).

If you have a phone with programmable button, use Manager to set one of those buttons to the DialPaging function. You can either set it to the specific group number when programming it or leave it blank and dial the group number after you press the button.

Otherwise create a shortcode using the DialPaging function. For example *99*N#/N/0/DialPaging for a general purpose paging function or *99/200/0/DialPaging for a specific group page (in this example group 200).

i have a remote location no VOIP how would i be able to dial this page button from a remote phone , maby somekind of fwd.

if you have a spare DDI on site b you should be able to route it to the short code for DialPaging

Ip have to IP office unints in site a and b , but just no VOIP

DDI i have lots of numbers you mean thhrouhg the incoming call route

He does indeed. If you have setup a system shortcode for paging a specific group, you can type that shortcode into the Destination field of an incoming call route.
