this may or may not be helpful...
i know i've done it on an ultra 5 running solaris 8. It had 2 internal ide chains and I set the jumper on the drive to cs (cable select) plugged the drive in and did a Stop-a and then probe-ide-all and then rebooted. it detected just fine. I would assume, that if your ultra 10 has an ide chain, the same would work. Hope that helps. Mike
