Sparc-20 HW

Any one know how I could find out what type of video card to use on a sparc-20. I looked at docs.sun.com but dont see anything...

You can call them for video card recommendations and prices. We get parts for our older Sun's from them because they are reliable and have reasonable prices on used parts. If you can't contact them (not an 800 number) repost and I'll open one of our Sparc20's and get video card specs for you in the morning.

Thanks I would love it if you couls let me know. Someone recommended a SUN GX CG6 8 bit VIDEO FRAME BUFFER Sbus but I would like to see something that suggest this is what I should go with...

You may want to verify that your OS will support the video card/frame buffer that you select. I ran into a situation where I found that Solaris 8 would not support the ZX frame buffer.

I pulled the video card out of one of our Sparc20's. The part # is "501-2325 - framebuffer, SBus, turboGX CG6 color, 8-bit, 1 MB".
