Found a great comprehensive tutorial on SPAN for switches. Maczen, I'll bet you'll love this.


By the way, Billy and Gene, I was watching this Star Wars deal (I remember the first one in what...1977? Saw it in the theater)---these out of order episodes...something about this east side gang called the Sith Dogs or something, and these dudes were sword fighting with light toy swords, and the planet was melting in a pool of lava, and the one good guy jumps to safety, and the evil dude catches on fire and gets all deformed, and this Chancellor dude saves him...the evil dude turns into Robo Gang Leader, and they call him Darth Vader (I remember him). Now I REALLY wonder about you guys, and your fascination with this...lol

I have to say, checked out Buirt's job site and they have a nice setup! Lots of stuff both old and new! Wish we would have visited without the girls so that we could have spent a lot more time checking out the equipment! He still has DEC stuff that dates back to 1975 which is awesome! Thanks for the tour Burt!

PS. Burt isn't the crabby Obi Wan type that you would expect! LoL Was a lot of fun!

It's funny... Burt has enough spare parts laying the shop around to construct his own R2 unit! We are going to have to do that again next time I'm down! Will have more time when it's not around the Holidays!

Plus I should have orders in the next couple of weeks Gene and it's looking like Florida first or Cali second! One is closer to Tampa and the other is closer to the Cisco Live convention! LoL

ALL of the dialog is WHY this is such a GREAT place!! I am sorry, but networking can be D-R-Y and B-O-R-I-N-G at times and it is this levety that makes me smile and keep reading and posting :)

Life is too short to not have some fun once in a while :) :)

Back to work now, or should I say - let the playoffs begin I LOVE THE NFL PLAYOFFS (even without the Tampa Bay Yucs) !!!!!!!

Super Bowl is here in Tampa this year, Pro Bowl is still in Hawaii!!!

NEXT YEAR both the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl will be in Miami - that will suck because the Pro Bowl being a week before the Super Bowl will not have ANY of the players from the Super Bowl!!!!

I wonder how attendence (by players) will be - I think the LAST Pro Bowl BEFORE moving out to Hawaii was in Tampa about 25 years ago and lots of players seemed to not want to go - big reason for the move to Hawaii. Seems NFL found that players seem to NEVER tire of a FREE trip to Hawaii :)

I can just imagine when it's back in Detroit or Minnesota - even with the dome and the media hype of the Super Bowl the following week - who would want to go to the cold North in Jan or Feb :-(
