Spam Blocking on Bberry?...

We have very low spam filter (for good reason) on our Corp. XChange Server.

Most Spam gets caught w/Spambayes on our Outlook 200x Clients. This works well.

How to Forward my Outlook eMail to Blackberry - AFTER - it's been filtered/Junked in Outlook.

Right now I get too much pre-filtered outlook email on my blackberry.

You can't, if your spam filtering solution filters at the Outlook Inbox level.

The BES/Redirector acts on the Exchange account directly, almost in real time, so any filtering would have to be done beforehand - before it even gets into Exchange, as the BlackBerry processing does not require Outlook to be active to occur.


Another thing you can do is try to set up filtering rules for the BlackBerry handheld itself, but that's not very practical.

I got it....Here's what to do:

Let Outlook Express pop to the Exchange inbox; grab a copy of the always running Outlook/Exchange inbox('cos that's all OE does!) and have OE forward the copied/popped inbox to the blackberry!

Hah! - OK, you have to leave both Outlook and OE open on your Workstation but what they hey - It works!!
