I have a number of tables which are nested in a cell of another table. I wish to space the content a percentage away from the side of the cell. The stylesheet and HTML below work fine in IE6 but not in NS7 where no padding is displayed.

section of the style sheet:

td#home-graphic{
padding: 5% 0;}

section of the HTML:

etc....
<td id=&quot;home-graphic&quot; width=&quot;78%&quot;>
<div align=&quot;center&quot;>
<table width=&quot;90%&quot; border=&quot;0&quot; cellspacing=&quot;0&quot; cellpadding=&quot;0&quot; align=&quot;center&quot;>
<tr>
<td width=&quot;15%&quot; height=&quot;44&quot;>&nbsp;</td>
<td class=&quot;home-graphic-border&quot; width=&quot;10%&quot; height=&quot;44&quot;>&nbsp;</td>
<td class=&quot;home-graphic-border&quot; width=&quot;10%&quot; height=&quot;44&quot;><img src=&quot;images/pic1.jpg&quot; width=&quot;95&quot; height=&quot;59&quot;></td>
<td class=&quot;home-graphic-border-text&quot; width=&quot;51%&quot; height=&quot;44&quot;>Engineering
Solutions</td>
<td width=&quot;14%&quot; height=&quot;44&quot;>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>
etc...

Can anyone help?

Angus

Try this instead -it may work for you!? ....:

td#home-graphic{
padding-left : 10px;
padding-right : 10px;
}
