I applies SP3 Professional to my PC and when it was rebooted I got the following error: winlogo.exe has generated errors. The pc just keeps rebooting and coming up with that error. I attempted to use last known good configuration and safe mode, but got the same error. Can someone help me out, thanks

I attempted to do a fast repair using the erd, but still got the same error.

Try booting with just the WIN2K CD (not the ERD floppy disk) and then do the REPAIR option.
That should repair all the system files...

If memory serves me right, every time you boot, the boot sequence gets recorded as the "Last Know Good Boot", which in many cases it isn't. I really wish MS would make this option truely work. Would help eliminate or reduce the neeed for an ERD.
