SP3 on CD?

So windows update wants me to download SP3, somewhere between 70MB and 320MB (don't they know?) via dialup.

I don't think so.

Looked around support.microsoft.com but couldn't immediately see where to order SP3 on CD. Does anyone know if it's available? If so a link would be appreciated.

Haven't seen anything either but it would be cheaper to just have a friend download it and put it on CD for you. Will keep my eyes open.

I bet it wont be too long before you see it on those CD's attached to Computer Magazines? What about a Computer Repair Shop, they'll probably have a spare copy to give or make up for you for a small (hopefully) fee?

Microsoft has it on CD already, but only for System Builders at present...

if they will release one for the general public, is questionable at present...

so it is more like what Linney mentioned, keep an eye out for it on Mag CD's...

Going to ait and see how it goes for everyone else anyway, but I guess I'll get someone to download me a copy. Been awhile since I've bought a hard copy computer mag, maybe not since Byte died.
