SP2 on CD 2

That's pretty cool.. I just went throught the order process, and was told I'll have the CD in 4-6 weeks. And it's absolutely free, not even shipping charges! Wow, and it's from Microsoft??? Some body pinch me! ![[wink]](/data/assets/smilies/wink.gif "[wink] [wink]")

Just some info for readers who might be interested.
Ordered my CD from Microsoft online and was surprised to receive it in 5 days! Noticed they are using a warehouse in Ohio to get them to customers in the eastern U.S.
In addition, the day after I ordered the CD from Microsoft I was in an Office Depot store. They had a whole box of the free CD's at the checkout counter. So, if you're near an Office Depot store, or one of the other national office supply stores, you might find the CD there.
P.S. I have not used the SP2 CD yet. Will wait a few more weeks as many others are doing!

Does XP SP2 require SP1 to be installed or can one go straight to SP2 over a clean installation?

SP2 contains all of the SP1 updates where required so SP1 does not have to be installed first.
