Source list is slow to brouse

When i go to pick a source it can take 1-2 mins before it expands the tree. It does this for each sub folder. So if i want to brouse to c:\temp\1\2\3\4\ it would take 10 mins +. It does this on all remote servers, but not on the local server's file tree.

It happens on both agent and network sources.

I am running Arcserve 11.5 SP3

I also installed Arcserve on a second server to see if it was limited to a single server, but it also happens on the second server (when brousing remote computers)

If there are a lot of subdirectories and files there is no way around it because Windows has a tough time handling it.

happens even in empty folders.

I tracked it down to servers with the server base files installed. If i unistall everything but the agent it sees the folder list very quick
