Sound Station 2 with direct connect for Nortel issues.

I am having a severe amount of trouble trying to get the Sound Station 2 w/direct connect to work on my system. I have a Nortel Meridian 11c release 4. I have setup the line as a m2616 and made key 3 conference and key 6 trn as instructed. I have called Polycom, but they were no help. Polycom sent me another phone but it has the problem the phone initializes fine but when I hit the call button there is no dial tone. I have tried several different lines and have even went as far as hooking it up to the line in the server room that is hanging directly off the switch. What am I doing wrong?

can you plug a digital set in and get dialtone? Does the port stat as idle? Are you sure you have a digital polycom?

Is this a 2 or a 2W? The 2 is digital and the 2w is analog...
