sound dropping in exported movie

When I test the movie that I'm working on the sound begins and ends where I would like it to. When I export it, it sounds fine the first time that I run it, but any time thereafter the sound ends prematurely. I'm fairly new to flash so I was hoping for some help. Incidentally, I get the same results wether I export it as a .swf file or a projector. I'm working on a mac G4 with 640mb of ram and the audio file is an mp3. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I imported an mp3 file and put it in one of my layers. Unfortunately I don't have a link and the file is too large to e mail.
