Hello Everyone,

I have a sound blaster audigy and windowsXP installed on a computer at home. I also have the klipsch 4.1 speakers. For some reason (I don't know exactly when this happens) it switches my speaker set up from four to two. I have changed the setting in windows control panel for sounds and in AudioHQ. I always have to change it back in order to get sound out of my four speakers. I have had no luck. It is just annoying more than anything. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad

i had a similar problem, but i have a 5.1 speaker system and no music or anything will play out of my center speaker, but it will play out of the rest, so try this, try setting it up as a 5.1 system, then see how that works, and make sure that you have the latest drivers, try that and see how it works for ya

well I have 5.1 speakers too and sb audigy platinum which has been such a head ache but Im not going to get into the fact that Ive had it for more than a year and haven't been able to keep it running for longer than a month without replacing it or reinstalling it, but I do think I can help you get your center speaker working...even though that wasnt the origninal question.open creative playcenter then downsize by pressing the arrow pointing to the box in the top right corner, theres a arrow pointing to the eax button, press this and then press cmss under esc and select on, this turns on the middle speaker for 5.1 speakers.

also i got mine to work by only installing the drivers, i didnt install any of that audio hq crap, so try that too

Just as an update to everyone ... creative has released new drivers for the audigy series of sound cards. This has fixed many of my previous problems such as crackling when listening to dvds, etc... You might want to try those out.
