Does anyone know how to add cut, copy and paste to the sound alerts please ?

Thanks in anticipation

John

Sound files are stored in C:\WINDOWS\Media, is that what you need to know or are you asking for other information?

Open the Sounds and Audio Devices in the Control Panel and select the Sounds tab.

In Program Events, anything with a Speaker Icon will produce a sound on that event occurring. One at a time click on the Speaker Icon to load the .wav file into the "Sounds" box below. Click on the small black triangle to the right of this box to play/preview the .wav sound.

Not quite Linney. I want to add cut, copy and paste into the Sound alerts and then add sounds to them.

I did read some notes by theAngrycodeR but no joy :-(

Thanks for showing an interest but I was hoping that there was an applet out there that would do the Registry work for me as I am quite liable to foul things up.
