Hi Forum

I have 2 HDD.

On the 1st I have 3 partitions. C,E,F
On the 2nd I have D,G

I have just formatted C but now I have lost my 2nd HDD and in Drive 1 I can only see C,E. F has gone?

How do I get my drives back and how do I get back the vital data on HDD 2?

Please help

Formatting shouldn't have touched the partitions unless you had a drive overlay program loaded or have changed operating systems.
How about looking with an emergency boot disk and see if they are visible using fdisk.
And what was there before and what did you put on now. Ed Fair

I had a look on the net and found some software called Diskgen.

I used it under DOS and somehow? it brought back the partitions so I could save the data. Thank God!

Thanks for the help anyway
