I have a database which I have linked with the Public Contact Folder in Outook. The Company Name is populating in the combo box automatically. However, I would like the user to have the ability to use the combo box to choose from various companies (populated by the public contact folder) to view their specific record or add a new record. When I click on the drop down arrow, it shows the persons name from the Public Contact Table (linked) not the company name. It will not allow me to change the linked table. Can someone give me advice on how to do this?

You should be able to change to rowsource for this combo as you like, this change could be based on a name in a field or the like.

Thanks Herman but when I change the row source it does change to the row that I need; however, it will lose the link to the Public Folder Contacts which is linked to all the other fields: Address, Phone Number, Email, etc....

I am not sure what to do. There are about 300 names in our Public Contact Folder that are linked into Access. Therefore, there are 300 records - 1 record for each customer (company). Within a record, I have 3 subforms that depend on the informaiton from the main page. They are all linked by the company name from the Public Folder. Make sense...sometimes, I confuse myself. :)

I would like to use the combo box to choose a customer (company) and have their contact information show on the main page and have numerous records on subpages - order history, etc. I guess I am trying to use the combo box as more of a navigation tool while on a current record and a selection tool on a blank record.

Do you have any ideas?
