Sorting a report by an unlinked text box in a form

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can sort an unlinked text box within a form that has a date calculation in it that gets its calculation data from a text box linked to a query or table.

ex.
boxa is blank with a date + count calculation that feeds a report.
Box B is manual entry textbox for the count.
