sort a combo box

Tried everything I know how... sorted the main table, made a query and sorted the query / saved, but nothing seems to be working...
Combo Box: Employee
The list needs to be alphabetical by last name, even if the names are entered out of order on the main table.

Any sugestions?

You didn't post the rowsource. Should look something like:
SELECT [fname], [lname] FROM customer_table ORDER BY [lname];

In other words, look at the Order By keywords.

buckeye77, did you find your answer?

I have the same problem and yes fneily I used the order by keyword, both in a row source query and as a stand alone query. When I run the stand alone query by itself the sort works, when I use it as the row source it is not sorted.
