a newebie to your forum and would want to upgrade a sup35 terminal on is3030 to sup60e.Where would i start from.Any help would greatly be apprecitaed.

Hi runhare,

you need an ISDN-Bus, with even Port 6404 and chopdc Operator-DNR, and odd Port with 0908 and chdnrc DNR.
You must have on the jack the SV60 and an normal Ergoline.
In night the device is an normal phone, if SV is present, it works as speachdevice.

I hope it is a little help.
If you have questions, write to the forum.

Good luck and greats
Werner

wernergo

thanks for the response and info.Got this info that i need the following COMPONENTS
--------------------------------------------------------
The SV60E is delivered as a set comprising the following items:
a)SV60E software comprising :
- Call handling module;
- PhoneWare Operator Directory;
- Configuration Chain Editor;
- Licence Manager;
- Login Module;
- Directory Agent;
- Convert tools.
b)- PhoneWare Phonebook Manager;
c)- ISDN card and software (iS3000 only).
d)-IBM compatible PC with Windows NT (iS3000 only), Windows 2000 Professional or Server, Windows XP Professional or Windows 2003 Server.
The following items can be ordered separately:
d)- Headset (or a number of headsets);
e)- Telephone set (ErgoLine E320 for iS3000 or Dterm for 2000 IPS);
f)- For exceptional cases: Media Box to connect a headset, an ErgoLine E320 and a Dterm.
This is needed if the SuperVisor is used for both iS3000 and 2000 IPS (one SuperVisor
handles calls from both PBXs)
-----------------------------------------------------------

On the assembly of the equipment, i got so far an isdn card Aceex ISDN-PCI 128K ISDN PCI Card so far.The pc and monarual headset would not be much of a problem.
What i would like to know is

1. is this isdn card that i got ok for this operation
2. an links for the sup60e package and software

Right now in our world,we are still analogue

Everything much appreciated

regards

Hi runhare,

the componets are right (like in the maintenance file ), but I don't know this ISDN-PCI Card. You must try it, I think it works.
If you order an SV60E, there must be a CD with all software you need!, and the Licenses.

Regards

Werner

Werner

You are already my hero so far.From the list,i have figured we need the isdn card & its related software,the sv60e software and the maintenance files.Upon trying to order the sv60e,i am being qouted an arm and a leg covering items that i do not need where is i would only need the former three.The isdn card got it.Now whats left is the sv60e software and the maintenance files.My pabx is running on version 810.

Hi runhare,

I hope, you can order the Software and Licenses for SV60E.
There is no chance, to make the SV operable without it.
The maitenance files are on each iS3000 documentation CD-ROM, in chapter [SOPHO SuperVisor], may be older, if you have no IPS

Have a nice week

PS: for my interest, please tell me, from which country you are, I am from Germany

Hi.

As ISDN device you could use a Fritz USB ISDN adapter, instead of the PCI ISDN adapter.

If you wish to connect the SSV60E to the same DTX-I hardware port as SSV35, you have to delete the PCT and create the PCT, as Werner states above, use Sig-group 6404.

The SSV60E applicaton is not supported for Vista, but it works with Vista Business.

Software and licenses should be obtainable through your local NEC Philips dealer/sales organisation.
