If you have a problem with AT&T Internet Security Suite by McAfee, you will have to go through some hoops to get support.

My problem: The current version does not do the following logging:

-Computer & Files
-Buffer Overflow Log
-ScriptStopper Log
-Email & IM
-Email Scan Detection Log
-Internet & Network
-Inbound Events
-Outbound Events
-Intrusion Detection Events

McAfee does not support the free AT&T Internet Security Suite by McAfee. You have to go through AT&T Technical Support to get to AT&T’s McAfee Technical Support. To obtain support you will need your email address that was used during registration. It is an encrypted key of 28 characters@NODOMAIN.COM. Yep! It is not your AT&T email address.

-----

The easiest way to obtain this email address is for you to go to
Establish a Chat Session; this will take awhile; then coerce the technician to give you the web site to verify your registered email address. Then copy the email address to some readable file: doc, txt, etc. Thank the technician and exit the Chat Session.

Contact AT&T at 1-800-288-2020 and ask for Technical Support.

Ask the technician to transfer you to AT&T McAfee’s Technical Support.

The technician will ask you for the email address used during registration. Yep, you will have give them the encrypted key of 28 characters@NODOMAIN.COM to obtain support. Then you have to get past level 1 support with the problem. The level 1 support will forward it to a senior technician. Who will respond in 24 to 48 hours by phone?

-----

And for your convenience it only took me 7 hours find out what their SOP was to submit a problem to AT&T. McAfee’s free version for AT&T Internet Security Suite by McAfee has a software malfunction.

Hope you have better success.

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
